It was reported that Nigerian superstar D'banj had left the Mike Adenuga led telco GLO for the rival MTN telecommunications outfit.
Later in the day D'banj confirmed these reports to be true by announcing his new venture with MTN on his Instagram page. The 'Oliver Twist' singer has entered a venture (via his record label DKM) with MTN to create a platform for creative people called Cream Platform.

"A partnership with MTN and DKM to launch a platform of Visible hope for the creative industry where Creative contents will be found , housed , financed , nurtured , published , marketed , distributed and Sold with track-able Monitoring by Content owners without leaving their comfort zones. Supported by Bank of Industry" announced D'banj on his Instagram page.
The Cream Platform kicked off yesterday and D'banj claims that over 32,000 entries were registered on it.
In 2009 D'banj signed an endorsement deal with GLO and it was reported to be worth N70m. The following year D'banj reportedly asked for more money which ultimately led to the telco dumping him and signing Psquare for a contract worth over N100m.
3 years later D'banj bumped into Chief Mike Adenuga which led to the singer re-signing with the telco. His endorsement deal with GLO has now expired and the telecommunications outfit is not enthusiastic on extending D'banj's contract.
Last month D'banj made the headlines over his supposed marriage to a mystery woman later identified as Lineo Didi Kilgrow. The pop star has not confirmed or denied that he is married.
