Alicia Keys has once again raised a massive amount for children’s charity Keep a Child Alive with her eighth Black Ball event.
The singer’s gala raised $3 million on Thursday in New York and the money goes towards paying for Aids treatment in Africa and India.
Alicia performed at the event with Will I Am, Usher and Norah Jones to name a few, and talking about the event she wanted to make sure everyone knew just how much she appreciated the donations from everyone who attended.
“I am overwhelmed at the kindness I witnessed last night,” she said. “I am forever grateful to all our supporters whose generosity will provide AIDs treatment and care for many in desperate need.”
