SONGBIRD Delta Goodrem has introduced her youthful boyfriend, Nick Jonas, to her Melbourne relatives.

Goodrem slipped into town during the week to spend time with her father, Dennis, and his wife, the Herald Sun reported.

The early Christmas celebration also doubled as a chance for Jonas and Goodrem's dad to get to know each other.

The significant age gap between Goodrem and Jonas has been the subject of great interest since they started dating seven months ago.

While they are spending quality time together at the moment, work commitments will see Goodrem, 27, and Jonas, 19, forced apart at the beginning of next year.

Goodrem has commitments in Australia with Channel 9's The Voice, while Jonas will be heading to New York to perform in How To Succeed In Business on Broadway.
