What Will George W. Bush’s Granddaughter Call Him?
|
In April, George W. Bush’s daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, gave birth to a
daughter, Mila, and it seems the former President is loving being a
grandfather. And though the family is going to let Mila decide what his
moniker will be, there is a frontrunner.
“Jefe, which means boss
in Spanish,” Bush Hager, 31, told People magazine. As for former First
Lady Laura Bush? “She’s not a ‘Grandma,’ but she’s also not like a
‘Mimi’ or a ‘Nini,’” Hager added. “We’ll just have to see how it goes.”
But one thing that has been decided: Bush has totally bonded with his new granddaughter — and his hair helped.
“It’s kind of appealing for a baby to see this white mound of hair,” Bush Hager said. “It’s not something she’s used to seeing.”
It also doesn’t hurt that she finds her grandpa to be hilarious.
“She was brilliant because once she laughed at him, there was this instant connection!” the new mom said.
