How This Cripple attempted to bomb Lagos Int'l Airport

2:59 AM |

Tragedy was, on Monday, averted at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, when a suspected Boko Haram member was arrested while attempting to detonate an explosive at the Centrex unit of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), at the international wing of the airport.

According to information gathered, the suspect was able to gain access under the guise that he was a physically-challenged, which truly he is.
Security men of the agency, sensing his unusual movement while trying to press an object, got him apprehended, upon which he was caught with an explosive detonator.

The airport police command was promptly alerted, while the suspected bomber was handed over to them.
The suspect was then taken to the Beesam police station, Airport command, where he is currently undergoing interrogation.
Reacting to the incident, NAMA refuted that the suspected bomber was arrested at one of the its facilities at the international wing of the airport.
According to a statement by its General Manager, Public Affairs, Supo Atobatele, the suspect was making phone calls on the airport road, close to CENTREX, an annex office of NAMA, when he was apprehended by security personnel.
“The basic truth, however, is that the said suspect was on the ground making calls when the agency’s security personnel accosted him.
“His incoherent explanation exposed him to the security personnel who later found on him some devices suspected to be explosives,” the statement read.
The Managing Director of NAMA, Mr Ibrahim Abdulsalam, in his reaction, commended the security personnel for their vigilance.

Having been displaced by several upcoming acts, rapper Ruggedman recently made another effort to bounce back.

That effort is personified by his new single Agidi in which the rapper, who shook the Nigerian music industry to its foundation with diss songs targeted at an umber of established stars, features Wande Coal.

But unlike the other songs that Ruggedman has released or even featured on in the past, the song is totally dominated by the Black Diamond Boss.

In the song, a 2-minute snippet which surfaced online on Friday, August 15, Wande Coal’s voice is easily recognisable in the song while Ruggedman’s voice is almost missing, unlike other songs he had dropped in the past like Opomulero, Ehen, Peace or War and others.

The rapper has however confirmed the leak is an unfinished version. Hopefully, he will make his voice heard on the final cut.

I was driving down a street along Alausa, having just finished answering a call, when a LASTMA official, suddenly, opened the passenger door, entered and jam-locked it.
